The mission of the PTA’s DEI Committee at P.S. 24 is to (1) recognize and celebrate our community’s diversity; (2) advocate for equity for all groups; and (3) promote inclusion of all voices and viewpoints.
The DEI Committee seeks to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all students, parents, educators and community members. We prioritize and advocate for all innovative sustainable solutions that work for a diverse range of children and families, especially those that are underrepresented and/or marginalized in our communities.
